Well made and stylish, but like all sit stands on zon, a bit overpriced. . The desk itself is well made and has great style. However, it honestly is the same style as the desks sold at autonomous. Ai for less ($100 less, actually) and the autonomous desk has better electronics.

Great product at a great value. I’ve been looking at standing desks for a long time, and had almost pushed the buy button on a different desk here on amazon. Instead i took a chance and grabbed this at what i felt to be a great value, and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and finish. The black paint job is a nice matte finish and is super clean (anodized perhaps?) and the components are all weighty and solid feeling. The box was packed efficiently and had good protection, and the frame itself didn’t have so much as a scuff. Assembly was easy and the directions were simple to follow. All the holes and inserts fit cleanly, with no burrs or ragged metal, and the paint job included the cut-outs so no unfinished looking bits. The motor is quiet and seems speedy – fast enough for me anyway it would have been nice if the motor was a bit better hidden, but once the cords are all tucked away, it doesn’t stand out like i had feared , and is hidden from the side by the leg. The up/down switch is simple but gets the job done and doesn’t stand out. Funny thing is i’ve only gone back to sitting two or three times once i had things set up – this is a seriously positive lifestyle change for someone who is in front of a computer for any length of timeno reservations recommending, especially at the great price (in fact going to buy the white version shortly).

My sciatica started getting really bad such that when i stood up there was a shooting pain down my leg and then a continuous dull throbbing. I have a u-desk and the desktop middle (at the bottom of the u) is a short piece that is secured to the sides of the u. I attached the base to the middle part of the desktop and then a keyboard tray that slides out. I have a mushroom-like chair and when i am sitting, i have the keyboard out and when standing, i slide the keyboard in and stand closer and so i don’t have to move my chair in and out. After just a week of half sitting and half standing, i no longer have the shooting pain down my leg and the dull throbbing pain is fading. There were minor issues with the motor when i received the ergo frame and customer support was immediately responsive and resolved the issue.
