I can’t go to starbucks anymore. The instructions are definitely hard to understand, but if you go slowly they will make sense. The desk is giant and quite stable. I’m using it to support a 27″ thunderbolt display and a 15″ laptop on a wci stand.
I’m 6’5″ tall and needed something that was proportionate. Took about 45 minutes to assemble, rolled it into place in my office and have used it regularly every day since.
A nice looking, very well made product. Arrived with no damage, assembly was not difficult. Although height adjustment is rather awkward and almost a two person job. It’s more designed to be set and left. The lower shelves came with velcro attachments, not thrilled with that. But overall, a nice looking, very well made product.
Looks good, sturdy, functions well, went together quite easily.

Hard to assemble, hard to adjust height. This desk is a bit awkward to assemble; you must bolt four cross pieces to two sides, but there’s no design or tool to ensure that the assembly is right angle and perfectly level. So then later when you add the extendable pieces and finally try to attach the desk surface, you find that the frame is twisted and unlevel, making for a lot of frustration. I am also disappointed that adjusting the height requires loosening / re-tightening four quite small wing nuts; i’ve not tried it yet but it does not look very easy. I’d hoped to be able to adjust up/down till i found optimum height but that does not look feasible. Since it’s tall and quite skinny, it’s not very stable either. Typing induces quite a bit of wobble which then shakes the display – i have it pressed against a wall, which does help to reduce the wobbling. Apart from that the materials quality is fine and the desk looks ok.
I am so happy with this stand up desk. I got it to burn more calories while i am at work on the computer and i am starting to feel my pants fit a little better already. But, the surprise benefit is that i don’t get tired when i am working at the desk for a long time, like i used to while sitting. I feel much more energized and positive while i do my work. Really nice side benefit that i noticed right away.
Good heights for shelves and desktop – meets expectations – i’d “buy it again”. Wood trim edges and gray shelves; side trim is plastic–has good texture/color. Features: solid with no noticeable wobble. Castor wheels (with locks) roll smoothly around the carpeted office floor. However, the sliding keyboard shelf has a noticeble downward right lean. Shelves adjustable with use of allen wrench (provided), desktop must remove the side panels and adjust the wing-nut. I recommend you set the heights on first assembly and dont’ adjust. Wing-nuts just have a metal pressure fitting (my conclusion is you don’t wing-nuts just have a metal pressure fitting (my suggestion is don’t adjust this too much or over-tighten as that pressure fitting may not be able sustain its hold over time.
